Having won several National and State Awards for her bravery and social work, it is only natural that Nazia Khan would be appointed as a Special Police Officer of U.P. Police. That she is just 18 years old, makes it a tremendous achievement!
In fact, she won the national bravery award earlier this year, for taking on a drug and gambling ring in Agra. Despite facing threats, she decided to take active measures against them, filing numerous police complaints. The complaints, unfortunately, mostly went unheard.

The courageous lady then tweeted about these rackets to the former U.P. Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav. What followed was a rigorous police investigation, resulting in the drug and gambling rackets being eradicated from various localities in Agra.
It appears she has nerves of steel—she was instrumental in preventing the kidnapping of a 6-year old child, and consequently received the prestigious Bharat Award in the National Bravery Awards Ceremony in New Delhi.
